Initiation of Substance Use Disorder Treatment (IET) - Total (Alcohol, Opioid and Other Substance Use)

The percentage of new substance use disorder (SUD) episodes for alcohol, opioid or other substance use disorder that result in treatment initiation through an inpatient SUD admission, outpatient visit, intensive outpatient encounter, partial hospitalization, telehealth visit or medication treatment within 14 days during the measurement year, by age group. Age groups include Age 13-17 Years, Age 18-64 Years, and Age 65 and Older.
