Average Pharmacy Claim Processing Time

The average Pharmacy Claim processing time per point of service transaction, in seconds.

  • The MCO shall provide an automated determination during the Pharmacy Point of Service (POS) transaction of an average of less than or equal to three (3) seconds. This is in accordance with National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) mandated response times.
