Medicaid member telephone and/or email requests for assistance accessing non-MCO Designated Physician/APRN Specialists (as defined by the health plan) per 1,000 average member months by New Hampshire county. 

Note:

DHHS utilizes this data to track possible network adequacy issues with providers. MCOs report on request types reflecting the need for the MCO to help members select a provider due to new member enrollment, replacing a provider due to the current provider retiring, leaving the practice, or no longer appearing on the MCO provider list, etc.  Given this focuses on telephone and/or email requests, this measure excludes provider searches performed on the health plan’s website and provider changes related to member preferences.
