Requests for Assistance Accessing MCO Designated Primary Care Providers by County

Count and percent of Medicaid member telephone and/or email requests received during the measurement period for assistance accessing MCO Designated Primary Care Providers (as defined by the health plan) per 1,000 average member months by New Hampshire county. 

Note:

DHHS utilizes this data to track possible network adequacy issues with providers. MCOs report on request types reflecting the need for the MCO to help members select a provider due to new member enrollment, replacing a provider due to the current provider retiring, leaving the practice, or no longer appearing on the MCO provider list, etc.  Given this focus on telephone and/or email requests, this measure excludes provider searches performed on the health plan’s website and provider changes related to member preferences.
