Percent of adult members who reported having a condition or problem that has lasted for at least 3 months (excluding pregnancy and menopause) for which they reported receiving health care 3 or more times in the last 6 months.
CAHPS® Adult Medicaid Health Plan Survey Questions:
Screening Question (Q43): In the past 6 months, did you get health care 3 or more times for the same condition or problem?
Q44 (Answered if Response to Q43 is Yes): Is this a condition or problem that has lasted for at least 3 months? Do not include pregnancy or menopause.
Please note:
On the HEDIS Reporting Year 2018 questionnaire, the question numbers for this measure changed from Q48 and Q49 to Q43 and Q44. The measure ID for this measure (CAHPS_CPA.49) will remain the same.
